Celebrating Lives; Celebrating Legacies

A lasting tribute to those we love and remember.

Image Description

In Jamaica, celebrating the life of a loved one is a deeply rooted cultural tradition filled with reverence, music, and community spirit. From the moment of a loved one’s passing, families and neighbors come together to share stories; prayers, music, or folk songs often fill the air.

In keeping with Jamaica’s rich traditions of celebrating the lives of loved ones, this memorial website offers a space where family and friends can gather, even from afar, to celebrate life, share memories, and offer prayers. It allows for the sharing of stories, photos and spiritual reflections, preserving the warmth and community spirit that are central to Jamaican culture. By providing a lasting tribute that can be visited anytime, this platform helps uphold cultural values of respect, unity, and the deep-rooted belief that our loved ones live on through our memories and love.

Born from Love; Built for Legacy

Muffett Hazle-Adams

This project began over 20 years ago when I lost my mother. In my grief, I created a simple tribute website for her using Classic ASP — it was my way of holding on, of celebrating her life in a meaningful, lasting way. Six months ago, when my father passed away January, 13th 2025 at the age of 102, I felt that same deep need to celebrate a life well lived. He was a remarkable man and an extraordinary father. These experiences reminded me how powerful it is to have a dedicated space to remember those we love. That’s why I created this platform — to make it easy for anyone to create a beautiful, professional memorial for someone they’ve lost. I dedicate this project, with all my heart, to my parents.
